Putin has pardoned a second cannibal killer in the space of just one week.
The Russian dictator freed Nikolay Ogolobyak, 33, a Satanist who murdered and ate two children.
Now Denis Gorin, 44, has been released from his 22-year jail term after he fought and was wounded fighting against Ukraine.
He is now in hospital pictured smirking recovering from war wounds after receiving his pardon from Putin.
‘He is in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, in the hospital, with a moderate injury,’ his neighbour told Sibir.Realii.
Gorin killed his first victim in 2002, slicing off the ears and pieces of flesh from the body which he later ate after stabbing them 50 times.
He was sentenced to ten years in jail and released early for ‘good behaviour’.
Gorin then killed a man named Alexander, 36, in November 2010, for which he was finally convicted in 2017 after the body was found.
He admitted to stripping the corpses and cutting off flesh and eating it, before dumping the remains in a river.
The court verdict heard how he ‘cut soft tissue from the victim’s limbs using a knife he had with him, which he later consumed as food’.
Gorin also kept human meat in his fridge and cooked it later, the court heard.
He and his brother also beat their nephew’s alleged abuser to death in 2012 but the alleged abuser turned out to be innocent.
