Sienna Blake (Anna Passey) is nothing if not determined, with the Hollyoaks legend having demonstrated time and again that she will do just about anything to get what she wants.
The show’s resident schemer, as fans know, has been on a mission to woo Rafe Harcourt (Chris Gordon), who she initially wanted to swindle out of his fortune.
Over time she started to fall for Rafe, or at the very least fall in love with the idea of the life that being Lady of the Manor could provide her and the twins with, and therefore she devoted every waking moment to getting the Earl’s ring on her finger.
And they say love is dead?
Ethan Williams (Matthew James Bailey), meanwhile, became collateral damage, with the kind and caring rogue winding up heartbroken after Sienna dumped him in favour of Rafe, in a move which still has us scratching our heads.
Upcoming scenes will see Ethan align himself with Dilly (Emma Johnsey-Smith) in the hopes of tearing Rafe and Sienna apart, with the masquerade ball, which airs later this week, proving pretty shocking on this front.
The lavish event is quite the spectacle, with Rafe popping the question to someone in particular. While we’re keeping tight-lipped on the ins and outs of the ball, we can confirm that things don’t exactly go as Sienna might’ve hoped.
Does that deter her? Of course it doesn’t.
This is Sienna Blake we’re talking about, after all. She practically invented the art of adapting to whatever situation one finds themselves in!
Determined to win Rafe over, Sienna turns her attention to Ethan, who previously confessed his love for her, hoping that her ex will assist her in getting the life she so desperately desires.
Yikes.
Fed up of being used, Ethan stands up for himself and declines her request, telling her that this time they’re over for good – and there is nothing she can say to change his mind on that front.
With Ethan proving of little assistance, Sienna turns to mortal enemy Dilly, confessing just how much she truly loves Rafe.
After allowing her to say her piece, Dilly agrees to help Sienna in getting some alone time with Rafe, with Sienna subsequently begging the Earl for his forgiveness.
“Forgiveness for what?,” you ask. Well, you’ll just have to wait and see, we’re afraid. Rafe, however, later takes a funny turn, leaving Sienna concerned. Is she about to find out about his terminal illness?
Here's how to watch Hollyoaks after the schedule change
Hollyoaks has a brand new schedule to better reflect viewing habits of TV audiences today.
The show will no longer air on Channel 4. Instead, viewers can get their daily fix on the station’s online platform, formerly known as 4OD and All4, weeknights at 7:30pm on Channel 4 streaming.
If streaming isn’t your thing or maybe you simply prefer to watch on TV then you can catch the show weeknights at 7pm on E4.
That also remains to be seen but with Camilla Bassington-Hart (Dylan Morris) prong to be a thorn in her side, Sienna devises a plan with some help from Ste Hay (Kieron Richardson) to get her love rival out of the way once and for all.
How? By spiking her.
With a big event being held within the village, Camilla will inevitably be by Rafe’s side and therefore Sienna resolves that spiking her drink will make her look like a liability.
Ste isn’t quite so sure but Sienna, as ever, is determined.
The question is: will Sienna succeed in her seriously dark plot? Or will Ste manage to make her reconsider before it’s too late? If it’s the former option, will she succeed in getting what she wants?
Or will Rafe work out what she’s up to? Either way, something shocking transpires, with pictures confirming such a thing, as Ste wonders what Sienna has done.
One to watch: Wednesday November 8 at 7:30pm on Channel 4 streaming or Thursday November 9 at 7pm on E4.
